Would You Rather Tag

Hello my lovely's I am here with another Tag post :) I love's me a Tag :)

I saw this on 'its only Sophie' blog check it out its run by Sophie Ford she is a 16 year old blogger.

So here are the Questions:

1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
- I would say eye shadows and palettes as if I haven't got mascara or lipstick on I feel naked!

2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
- I have already had 13 inches off hair cut off so I think I will go with the short hair :)

3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
- I always go for a slightly more pink cheek. So pink :)

4.) If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
- I think I would buy clothes. I always neglect buying clothes but I don't think twice about spending money on make up.

5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
- eyeliner as lipstick!!!!! I couldn't imagine anything weirder than the feeling of lipstick on the eyes ewww!

6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
- Mac as we don't have Sephora in the UK so I don't know what they stock

7.) Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life?
- I would pick one eye shadow as you can completely change the look with a different colour lip

8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
- Summer clothes in winter! I cant stand being too hot. I would just use lots of blankets in the winter :P

9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
- I would have bright nails, I don't really go for dark colours

10.) Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?
- I don't know as I couldn't live with out mascara but I wouldn't want to not wear lipstick, ermmmmmmm give up lipstick :'( would be a very sad day

11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
- oooo If only I could do either of these now! I would love to be able to do a messy bun

12.) Would your rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?
- Never wear lipgloss. I don't really use lipgloss often as I tend to wear creamy lipsticks with a nice shine.

13.) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?
- This is a very strange question, I don't really like doing my own eyebrows but people with no eyebrows look scary so I would sharpie them in

14.) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
- Definitely live without nail polish!!!! I would hate to have no make up

I am leaving this as an open tag. If you read this and want to do it, do it! leave me a comment to say you have done it and I will pop over and have a read :)

3 Package Kind Of Saturday

Hello my lovely's this is a long post so grab a cuppa or if your like me a glass of vimto!

On Saturday the postman woke me at 9 am. I was annoyed as it was the first day in 2 weeks I could have have a lie in. So I sent the hubby down ;) he came upstairs with 3 parcels. So it wasn't so bad!

One was just an iPad cover for my glitter decorated business,

pink iPad case

The second was my prize from Josie Cross, I entered her giveaway on her blog josielcross.blogspot.co.uk make sure you check out her blog!

Prizes

I won a mac lipstick and some lush goodies, I chose heroine lipstick and Josie sent me a bunny bubble bar and catastrophe cosmetic fresh face mask.
catastrophe cosmetic fresh face mask

Catastrophe cosmetic fresh face mask
Lush website says
'A calming and moisturising fresh face mask packed with blueberries, calamine and chamomile, rose, and almond oils to soothe and soften the skin.
Smoothe a generous layer of this mask onto cleansed skin and leave for 10 to 15 minutes and let the ingredients get to work deeply cleansing and calming skin down, before washing off gently with warm water.'

This mask smells lovely very fresh and fruity, slightly sweet but naturally sweet. I really picked up on the smell of rose. This mask is designed to help clear spots while soothing the skin at the same time. As it is a fresh mask you keep it in the fridge. When you first put it on it can be a shock to the system but very refreshing at the same time. When I first used this I found it quite drying but for my oily skin I love it to feel tight and dry! I left the mask on for 15 mins and by the end the mask had gone all hard so I made lots of stupid faces in the mirror and watched it all crack and crumble off! Does anyone else do this when they have a face mask or is it just me?
I used a face cloth and warm water to remove the residue and my skin felt lovely. It had a really nice healthy glow and felt really smooth! So far loving this mask :)

Bunny bubble bar

Bunny bubble bar
Lush website says
'Follow this white rabbit to the bathroom for sweetly scented, skin softening bubbles. With the comforting smell of Fair Trade vanilla absolute, and filled with blue cornflowers to float through the water and surround you in the bath.
Inspired by the White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland, this little fellow is full of rich oils and butters to leave your skin soft and conditioned. Sharing the same fragrance as our Creamy Candy bubble bar, this limited edition Bunny is as wonderful on the inside as he looks on the outside, filled with skin softening shea butter and coconut oil, with little candy eyes and tail.'

I am not going to lie this smells so sweet I want to eat it :-/ I have a bit of a problem with things that smell amazing I just want to put them in my mouth or at least lick them! (I know I am starting to sound extremely weird sorry) I haven't used this yet but I know I am going to love it. It is so cute I feel bad using it so I am going to go make sure I buy more of these :)

Mac lipstick in heroine

Mac lipstick in heroine
I am so glad mac have added this to there permanent line it's such a beautiful vibrant colour, it's such a nice purple and lasts so well I easily get 5+ hours out of this colour. It is a matte but it is more like a satin to apply but dries matte when set.

The third was a welcome pack from sigma beauty!

I applied for there pro program a little while ago and got a email saying my application was accepted but I am yet to use my discount. I am saving for a full new set of brushes but with saving for a new house, brakes for the car and we are going to Florida in July, none essentials items are getting pushed back.

When I got the box it was all crushed and open on either end! I thought what ever was in there was sure to be gone, but I was very lucky the package had wedged its self so it hadn't come out! First thing I noticed was my new pro partners card, then I opened the package :) there was so much inside!

I got:
2 brushes a eyeliner brush E05 and a blending brush E25 these brushes are so soft you will want to buy all of the brushes, good plan sigma reeling us in with samples like this!

A eye shadow pallet with 3 beautiful colours inside

Samples of eye brow powders, there is 4 duos in light, auburn, medium and dark!
Samples of 10 eye shadows, these are so pigmented! Can't wait to try out a few looks with these!

And a code to get free 18k gold face brush kit with the purchase of the 18k gold complete kit which I am already thinking of buying!

Can You Have Too Many Shampoo's?

Hello my lovely's, hope your all keeping well. I have a question for you, can you have too many shampoo's? I currently have 5 on the go an 2 waiting in the wings!

When I wash my hair I leave my shampoo on for 3-4 mins rinse then repeat (usually with a different shampoo) leaving it on for a further 3-4 mins. Being a hairdresser I know you really don't need to leave it on for any longer than it takes to get a good lather going but I always feel like if I leave it on longer my hair won't get greasy as quickly, like the shampoo is sucking all the oil out of my scalp.

Currently taking up space in the shower are:-
Lee Stafford everyday blondes shampoo
Lee Stafford bleach blondes shampoo
Lee Stafford big fat healthy hair
John Frieda go blonder
Toni and Guy advance detox shampoo

Shampoo collection can you have too many?

Lee Stafford everyday blondes shampoo
This is the shampoo I reach for the most often. It's one of the gentlest on my hair and has a slight purple colour to very gently deposit colour to stop brassiness in blonde hair.

Lee Stafford everyday blondes shampoo

Lee Stafford bleach blondes shampoo
This is my purple shampoo I use once a week or every other week depending on how ashy blonde I want to be. You only need a small amount of this and you don't need to leave it on long.
Lee Stafford bleach blondes shampoo
Lee Stafford bleach blondes shampoo

Lee Stafford big fat healthy hair
This is my going out or I need to feel good shampoo! Every time I use this my hair feels great really light and easy to work with. This really does give big fat healthy hair. It leaves your hair feeling clean, big, bouncy and shiny. Love it!
Lee Stafford big fat healthy hair

John Frieda go blonder
I used to think this made a difference but if I am honest I don't think it really does. But I am reluctant to retire this from my collection. When I leave my purple shampoo on too long and my hair has a pinky/purpley/grey tone this does help to get it looking back to normal quicker than the others I have mentioned previous.
John Frieda go blonder
John Frieda go blonder

Toni and Guy advance detox shampoo
This is the most drying shampoo ever! If you have used a hair dye and need to get it out this will strip it! You can't rub this in like other shampoos you need to be really gentle and use stroking movements to get it through the hair of you will end up with a matted mess. After using this it's so important to use a hair mask to restore the moisture. If I haven't washed my hair for a while and used lots of dry shampoo I will use this to get all the product and grease and dirt out.
Toni and Guy advance detox shampoo

When I shampoo I will often use a combination
John freider go blonder first followed by Lee Stafford everyday blondes shampoo
Lee Stafford bleach blondes followed by John Frieda go blonder or the other way around
Toni and Guy advance detox shampoo followed by Lee Stafford big fat healthy hair
The only ones I don't always use with another is Lee Stafford bleach blondes shampoo and Lee Stafford big fat healthy hair I can often just these on their own.

What's your fav shampoo? Do you use lots like me? xXx

February Empties

Quick post tonight, my February empties. Here is all the products I finished in February :)

February Empties hair spray creams mac comfort zone soap and glory lee stafford

Mac Prep and Prime Face Protector spf50

I am loving this primer. It was recommended to me by a mac artist and I am loving how well foundation goes on over it :)

Mac Lipstick Snob

This colour is so beautiful. I love pink lipsticks and this is such a sweet baby pink colour. It's very girly and suits most skin tones

Got2b Glued

This is the strongest hair spray I have ever used! It's a nightmare to comb out but that could be because I use it with Got2b Powder'ful which leads me to

Got2b Powder'ful

This stuff gives hair amazing volume and hold. You lift up the top section of your hair and sprinkle it on underneath and rub it into the roots and it fluffs up the hair perfectly during the day/night if it starts to drop you just ruffle your hair up again and BAM it's back to gorgeous hair

Comfort Zone Hydramemory Cream

I did a review on this (here) I love this cream and will defo be repurchasing

Elle Macpherson The Nourishing Foot Butter

I often have dry cracked heals but when I use this it makes such a difference! It feels nice and cooling after a day on your feet

Lee Stafford Shine Head

This gives your hair a beautiful healthy looking shine but you have to be so careful not to use to much other wise you will end up with very greasy hair

Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes Conditioner

This is my fav conditioner atm it is slightly purple so it helps to stop brassiness while keeping hair soft

Umberto Giannini Backcomb in a Bottle

I have been using this for a long time. I often forget about it for a while but when I start using it I fall in love with it all over again. I feel like its a spray version of Got2b Powder'ful

Nivea In Shower Body Moisturiser

I talked about this in my February favourites (here) really starting to love this. It's so easy to use and saves time waiting for moisturiser to sink in :)

Soap and Glory Scrub'em and Leave'em

Everybody loves a good body scrub and soap and glory definitely know how to make them! With such a wide variety to choose from I decided to get a small version of the scrub'em and leave'em. I really like this but I don't think it's anywhere near as good as their 'breakfast scrub' it left me feeling like I needed a deeper exfoliation.

What product did you love in February? Don't you just love finishing products get to buy new things now! :)

Quick Easy Make Up In A Hurry

Your alarm goes off and you press snooze next thing you know your late and need to look good but haven't got enough time for make up!
Wrong!
With this guide you can easily be ready in minuets!
Ted Baker

make up

After you have washed and toned your face as normal you apply Nivea daily essentials tinted moisturising day cream. This works as your moisturiser and foundation in one! It's got great coverage, moisturises the skin and contains a spf8!
Using your fingers it blends easily taking 30 seconds to apply!
Nivea daily essentials tinted moisturising day cream

This step not everyone will need
Next apply a bit of concealer under the eyes, you can always skip this if your in a real hurry. I use mac prep + prime highlighter in light boost

Then set your face with powder using a big fluffy brush dust it on all over should take seconds to get a good coverage

Next I use Nars Laguna bronzer, if I am in a hurry I apply it with a big fluffy brush on my cheeks nose and forehead then I squeeze the bristles and apply a little more to contour my cheekbones and temples

For eye shadow I am loving Nars Mississippi mermaid, It's a very neutral colour with a nice shimmer so its perfect for a all over lid colour just blend it out at the edges. Because it's a neutral you don't need to apply it too neatly :)

Then I use "maybelline the falsies volum' express" mascara I find this mascara makes my lashes look longer, thicker and more curled so no need for eye lash curlers!

Finish the look with your favourite lipstick, I chose mac Milan mode as its a pretty pink with a bit of shimmer and compliments this natural make up look.

February Favourite's

Hello my lovely's,
This year is going so quickly! I can't believe it's already March! I am going to do my first monthly favourites post! So her it is my My February Favourite's.

My Kurt Geiger Shoes!

Firstly these were not bought in February but I have been admiring them a lot through out Feb wearing them to a party and a lot around the house!
These little baby's cost £165 in June. I bought them for a wedding and got so many compliments on them :) even tho my feet were killing I felt proud strutting my stuff in these massive heels! 6.5inches to be exact.

Kurt Geiger

I added the nail varnish to show the true size of these heels
and yes they do have Primark insoles in

Nivea in Shower Body Moisturiser

I have mentioned before that I hate the feel of creams on my skin so I thought this is perfect for me. I am good at looking after my skin pre an in shower. Before a shower I will body brush and 2/3 times a week I will exfoliate in the shower but when I get out its a bit of a palaver getting cream on my skin, then I have to wait till I feel like its completely absorbed. BUT this little beaut is amazing after you have washed you rinse, apply this all over then rinse off the residue. Simple as that :)  Even tho I used the one for dry skin it isn't the most moisturising motoriser but my skin did feel softer than using nothing.  Over all I would buy it again.

Nivea in Shower Body Moisturiser

Mac Pro Set Powder

My Holy grail of setting powders! This is the most amazing powder for every skin type! Even the oiliest of skins will find this powder awesome! I am not saying my make up lasts all day with this but I would say it easily adds well over 2 hours more than any other powder I have used. Here is a bit more info :)

Mac Pro Set Powder

Nars Laguna

Be-au-tiful, gives skin a wonderful glow with just a subtle hint of shimmer. I love how versatile this bronzer is. I am very pale and it looks great on me, my mum has an olive skin tone and looks stunning on her, even my darker clients benefit from this awesome powder.

Nars LagunaNars Laguna

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation in Ceylan
I was sceptical of this foundation after reading a few reviews about it being hard to blend. I applied with a mac 187 brush, wasn't keen, I just couldn't get it to lose the brushmarks so I applied it with my fingers and voila. The heat from my fingers kept it from setting to quick and I was able to blend it, smooth it and perfect this magical liquid. I only wore it for evenings out so 5 hours max at a time so I am un able to say how well it would last all day but for a evening out it was perfect.

Smash Box Brow Tech in Blonde

So if you read my mac haul I bought a brow pencil in lingering. Well that's not going too well, still finding it too dark. My sister recommended this smashbox brow tech powder to me so I bought the lightest one 'blonde' considering my hair is the lightest blonde before using bleach it's kind of appropriate :) There is a wax you apply first, then use one of the two powders. I have been using the darker of the colours with the lighter one to fill in slightly more for nights out. So far it has been working really well for me and I would definitely recommend it :)

Smash Box Brow Tech in Blonde

Tanya Burr nail Varnish in Little Duck

I did a little review on this here.
I love this colour it's so pretty :)

Tanya Burr nail Varnish in Little Duck

Yankee Candle in Vanilla Frosting

I love the smell of this so so much! I love the smell of sweet things and this is so sweet it's perfect! I got this for Xmas and use it almost every day :)

 Yankee Candle in Vanilla Frosting

Lee Stafford Blow Dry Your Hair Faster Spray

This stuff is incredible it really make hair dry so much quicker! When I use this I don't need moose and my hair is dry in under 5 mins! When my hair was long would take good 40mins to dry it nice and straight but this cut the time to 20-25 mins so makes a big difference in the mornings :)

Lee Stafford Blow Dry Your Hair Faster Spray

Marc Jacobs Daisy

This perfume smells lovely. It's fresh but sweet, it's a floral, but it's not an in your face floral. It's just the right amount of everything and I find the scent lingers so well. I find it is a great day and night perfume.

 Marc Jacobs Daisy

No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Brush

I am loving this. It makes my skin feel so soft. I did a small review on it last month in my boots haul. Check it out here.
