Elledeeswednesdees challenge week 1

Hello my lovely's
I am going to be taking part in the lovely Laura (from elledeesbeauty) challenge. If your interested why not check it out here. Basically each week Laura is going to be giving us one word to write a blog post about and this week it is Love. You can write anything you like about it just needs to include love :) I think its such a nice challenge as you can be a creative as you like.

So here it goes my post on love.

So for my post I am going to use pictures and write a little about each thing.

My Hubby
I love him more than anything in the world! He really does complete me. I have been married for 2 years this July and it has been a roller coaster of emotions due to infertility but he has been a rock and I couldn't of asked for a more amazing person to be on this roller coaster with me.

My Crazy Family
This picture is from 2004 in Walt Disney World at the end of our second day. We were all tired and jet lag was in full swing but my dad was still acting like a nutter jumping up and down for pictures when the rest of us just wanted out beds! This is my family and my uncle and cousins (my aunty Sue was taking the picture) starting on the left we have my youngest cousin Katie, my uncle Siomon, cousin Hollie, Me, sister Sara and my mum with my crazy dad in the back ground.

here is a few more of the nutters that I wouldn't change and love to pieces.

My Bunny Rabbit
Steve is awesome! Even if he did kill my lap top I cant help but love him. He is so cute and friendly, if your quick enough to catch him he will even let you have a quick cuddle but he too like my family is a little crazy!

My Home Town and The View From My Bedroom Window
I loved growing up by the beach. We might not often get the weather for it but I love going for a walk along the prom and climbing over the sand dunes.
In Prestatyn we have the sea to the north and hills to the south so there are all ways places to go and explore
From my Window I can see a hill that leads up to gwaenysgor (a tiny little village). On the hill in summer there is always some sheep or cows and in the winter if it snows you can see people sledging down!

Walt Disney World Florida
BEST PLACE EVER! need I say more. I love everything about being in the Disney parks, The excitement about going, the anticipations of whats going to happen, the monorail over to Magic Kingdom, the excitement walking down main street, the smell of cinnamon and pop corn, seeing all the smiles, getting a ticket if your not smiling! The rides! It truly is the happiest place on earth!

Make up
In my day to day I don't wear a lot of make up. I prefer to wear a tinted moisturiser, powder, bronzer, blush, highlighter, quick eye shadows, mascara and lipstick. But for nights out I love to do a full face using everything!

Make sure you check out Laura's page and like her facebook page!

First up we have Sara from lipsticksandcocktails.blogspot.co.uk
Hi I'm Sara, I live in a beautiful little sea side town in North Wales. I have just finished my second year of uni. Now I have some spare time I decided to start a blog! My blog is called lipsticks and cocktails, it is bit of everything from beauty, books, exercise and will soon be featuring some fashion posts too! xoxo

Hello! I'm Anita from All Things Anita, I am an aspiring architecture student based in the North West of sunny old England! Over at my small corner of the internet I primarily write about beauty products, while occasionally injecting in the odd lifestyle or fine art related musing. I hope you drop by my place to have a chat or maybe grab a cuppa and browse for a minute or two..  www.AllThingsAnita.co.uk

Hi, I'm Belle write of Part of Belle's world blog. Makeup and travel addict who loves everything Disney, my blog is mainly lifestyle focused, with lots of posts about my travels including a lot of Disney adventures, general life and living my happily every after and lots of beauty inspired posts too.

I'm Sarah, the owner of SarahSmilesxx.com and a girl who still believes in unicorns. My blog features all things lifestyle and beauty, including recipes, books, nails, real life advice and the occasional fashion post. Alongside my blog, I am also a business owner selling handmade jewellery, cosmetics and custom blog designs. I'll put the kettle on, you can supply the biscuits. Keep Smiling x

I’m Aftab, a male blogger born and bred in Bournemouth but now based as a London Blogger. My blog is based on lifestyle, male grooming/unisex beauty products, fashion and a bit of equine blogging too.

I'm Laura, I'm 26 and I live in the fab city of Liverpool! I have a little beauty blog. Blogging is my world, I LOVE IT! All of my time and energy goes into every post I make so I hope you all enjoy :)

A Little Independent Shoe Shop
I currently work as Assistant buyer for a gorgeous little independent shoe shop in Kent and blog about fashion trends, buying trips and the going's on at the shop. The shop Has been providing footwear for all the family since 1898!

So here are my thoughts on them!

Now I am going to be honest Sara is my little sister! She has only been blogging such a short amount of time I thought I would let her have top spot this month. Lipstick and cocktails are her favourite things, she has an ever growing collection of lipsticks that rivals my work lipsticks (from my make up business!) and I have many story's of her and cocktails but I won't embarrass her ;) (for now). Her blog so far has been about books she is reading and her fav products of the month. She has literally just finished her doing her second year of uni as her last exam was 7th May, so she now has more time to add to her blog. I wish her all the best on building her blog and audience!

Anita from All Things Anita. This girl is amazing! Her blog is fantastic she has great reviews on so many products! Her pictures are beautiful. I love the layout of her blog too. I think it's nice how she has all the pictures of each post on the home page. Her posts are so easy to read, Anita makes all her post very clear and to the point while still being friendly and welcoming. She goes into such detail in all her reviews. It truly is a pleasure to read.

Belle from Part of Belle's world is such a lovely lady! I feel like I have a bit of a connection with her, not in a weird stalker way but she has done a few post (starting with this one) that are very close to my heart and I feel like I can connect with her. She has been through a lot but has stayed strong and come out fighting. Her blog is beautiful, she tells the story of her wedding at Walt Disney World (including so amazing photos, check out her picture in her bio BEAUTIFUL), her travels, make up, reviews and her struggle to have a baby. It really is a lovely blog to have a read threw.

Sarah, from SarahSmilesxx, I have to start this off with OMG how cute is the drawing in Sarah's bio!!! I am very jealous of Sarah's blog. I love how pretty and together her blog is with the flowery design running throughout her headers and links on the sidebar. She is super talented young lady, she has an amazing blog that covers everything from books, reviews, make up, nail varnish, baking, lifestyle and tags! (told you she covers everything). If you love a good tag check out her tag Tuesday's! I love looking through these as I feel you get to know people so well. Sarah also makes jewelry, nail varnishes (check out her Mario collection) and blog designs! I am defo considering getting her to do a custom design after having a nosey at ones she has already done they are all stunning.

Aftab is a male blogger, he has a blog called freshandfearless. Aftab has started doing some amazing photo filled posts of places he has been and things he has seen. He has started a series of guest blogger posts all about love. He has great unisex posts! his blog really does cater to everyone, he has reviews of products, fashion posts (he even admits he has a bit of a shoe addiction), and post on horses! Very very jealous he has his own horse! my favourite post of his is a post he did about his mum for mothers day, It was so lovely to read (check it out here).

Laura from elledeesbeauty is such a sweetie! when I went to my first bloggers event she met up with me before hand so I didn't have to go on my own! Laura is doing beauty therapy in collage so has some great posts and reviews on beauty products. Laura recently got engaged so we can look forward to some wedding preparation posts soon!

A Little Independent Shoe Shop is a little blog that talks about style and up coming fashion trends from the catwalks. The shop has been around since 1898! if you check out there blog you can also get 10% off by using the discount code Hoads10.

Now you have read about them why not click on there buttons in the side bar to check out the blogs!

Fabb Liverpool

Hello my lovely's,
I am finally doing a write up about my first bloggers event fabbliverpool (which now feels like a life time ago). I took my sisters camera with me and got some great pictures but since I gave it back to her she has broke the memory card I saved the pictures on so this is going to be a very heavy word post with a major lack of pictures! If I can get them off the memory card I will add them in the future! I have reshot some things using my phone so sorry for the poor quality!

This is going to be broken down into 3 posts or you'll be here all day reading. Once the they are up I will link them here :)
First post is getting ready
Second at FabbLiverpool
Third goodie bag and review

So on Saturday 15th March I went to my first bloggers event 'FABBLiverpool'. I must say, now I have been to one I need to go to another ASAP! The girls Tor  Ray from thatspeachy and whoisshe did an amazing job at organising the event. I had such an amazing time! A lot of that is to do with the company I had! I met 3 amazing lady's! Laura, Anna and Leanne, they made me feel at ease and were so fun to be around. I have such a fear of going new places and I am terrified of going places on my own! So this was such a big deal for me to go somewhere new on my own!

My day started quite early 8am (considering I have insomnia and only went to bed at 6:15, 8am is early to me! It's like going bed at 11 and getting up at 1am for a full day!)
I had washed my hair the night before so all I had to do was wash, apply my make up and get dressed!

I used my usual no7 beautiful skin face wash and toner then used Soap and Glory face mask (to help dry out my oily skin to keep my make up in place all day), and eye cream followed by no7 beautiful skin day cream.

No7 beautifully balanced skin care soap and glory

I left my moisturiser to sink in for 10 mins while I blow dried my fringe and put in a few rollers.
Soon as my rollers were in I put my Illamasqua hydra veil primer on. This stuff is incredible it makes your skin feel so smooth and foundation just slides over it perfectly! But it's best to leave it 10 mins before applying foundation.
The rest of the products I used are:-
Face
Mac studio fix fluid NW20
Mac Prep + Prime light boost
Mac Pro set powder invisible
Mac shaping powder emphasize
Nars bronzer Laguna
Mac blush stay pretty
Eyes
Mac paint pot in painterly
Urban Decay Naked 2
Booty Call on lid
Tease above cease
Pistol in crease and outer v
Foxy as brow highlight
Illamasqua eye liner cake Mislead used with sealing gel
Rimmel lash accelerator mascara
Mac lashes in 33
Brows
Smashbox brow wax
Sigma brow powders in light (were part of my welcome pack!)
Lips
Mac lipstick snob
Mac lipstick Milan mode
Tanya Burr Aurora lipgloss
Finished off with fix plus

Make up Fabb Liverpool

Wow when you put it like that that is a lot of make up!

Once my make up was sorted I took my rollers out gave it a lil backcomb and used got to be powderful. Once my hair was how I wanted I used got to be glued which literally freezes your hair how you want it :)

Got2be glued and powderful rollers

I wore this pretty little number from new look with tights, paired with a short denim jacket to make it more casual and go with my high tops! I used my river island pink and beige handbag. And topped it all off with gold dangly earrings (look out for a little fiasco story about my earings in the next segment) and gold bracelet.
Newlook Blue dress pretty collar
It's not showing up true colour it's a greeny blue colour
I love the detail on the collar
fancy collar

How cute are my high tops
osiris high tops

And my bag matches quite well

River island handbag

I used Marc Jacobs purfum Daisy
Marc Jacobs Daisy

Once I was ready I checked my bag for all my essentials and I was ready to go!
But my hubby wasn't!

I waited around for him worrying about the time, I had planned to meet Laura at 12 and it was cutting it close already. He was finally ready so we hopped in the car and started on our journey. Not long after we got on the A55 the fuel light came on so we had to stop, delaying me even further! By the time we had got towards the boarder of Wales and England the traffic started to slow down. I really did feel like everything was against me. We got off the A55 asap and it was clear roads....... for a full 5 mins then again queue's! I text Laura to let her know what was going on and that I was going to be quite late as I sent it as if by magic the sun started shining and the roads cleared. It was smooth sailing all the way to the tunnels even then it wasn't to bad. We managed to park pretty quickly.
Now all I had to do was find the little caffee we were meeting at.

If your still here thanks for sticking with it, next post about FabbLiverpool will be up ASAP and hopefully I have loads of pictures to show you :)
until next time have a nice day xXx

O Woe Is Me

Hello my lovely's, I am going to have lots more time for my blog as I am currently off work for 3 weeks as I have my foot in a aircast!

            Here is the evidence

Don't worry I haven't hurt my self I have got a problem with my feet that has been going on for 10 years this year! It's called plantar fasciitis, basically I have lots of micro tears in the plantar fascia (the ligaments in arch of your foot) and every time I walk it's making it worse so I am having 6 weeks of wearing the 'aircast air select elite' boot to try and help rest it so it might heal. I need it to be as well rested as it can be as we are going to Florida in July so I want to be able to walk around as much as possible! usually after 2/3 days I can bearely put my feet on the floor and have to be pushed round in a wheel chair! Which I hate! I feel like everyone is looking at me thinking why is that girl in a chair she must be lazy.
I feel like a fraud being in the boot and on crutches too, after only 4 days I have hardly any pain in my right foot which usually hurts 24/7! Which feels amazing! My left foot on the other hand is killing! It's usually my good foot that only aches after I have been standing or walking around for 2hours.

I am only 25 and I am falling apart!
O woe is me :(

On a nicer note I am loving the sunshine we have had over the last 3 weeks! And the chocolate eggs from Easter!

Right now I have very easy living arrangements as I (and hubby) have moved into my parents house as we have sold our house and we want to save some more money for a bigger deposit for our next house. So far I am loving being back at home, everyday my mum makes me clean the kitchen and bathroom as I am home alone while everyone is in work/uni but I don't mind. It's saving us a fortune!
I have taken well to getting into a routine of :-
getting up get washed and clean bathroom
get dressed have breakfast clean kitchen
put a wash on and go let Steve out (if you read my posts regularly you will know he is my bunny). Sit with him or change his bedding
get the washing out to dry
then the rest of the day is free to go for lunch, sunbathing and getting my eBay work done. Have to say its a working out well for me lol

Well this has been a long quite random post but I am back and enjoying putting down my nonsense thoughts on my blog,

Don't forget to leave a comment and follow me on bloglovin! Link is in the side bar

Until next time have a nice day xXx

Where Have I Been?

Hello my lovely's, and happy Easter!
Other than the Liebster award post (link here) its long time no see! It has been hectic! But here I am finally had time to do a quick post. So what's been going on? What's been keeping me from my blog?
I was really busy with work, worked on 4 photo shoots, had 3 wedding, 2 christenings and moved house!
Biggest problem was.....
I sat down to write some posts had them all nearly ready to go then *poof* I peered over my laptop to see my rabbit Steve stood staring at me all doe eyed, unaware of the devastation he just caused. He had only gone and bit threw my laptop wire! So I was stuck with no laptop for a little over 3 weeks! Only reason I can post now is I am moving into my mum and dads an borrowing a laptop.

I want to say a huge congratulations to Belle from partofbellesworld she won my giveway. I am kinda glad she won I follower her on twitter and bloglovin and she is such a lovely lady who could do with some good luck. Why not go check out her blog and give her a cheeky follow on bloglovin.

Blog posts to keep an eye out for over the next few weeks. They are all written up thanks to the notes on iPad just a waiting the photos off my dead laptop.
They won't necessarily appear in this order but here is what's in the line up:
*Some reviews of some lush bath bombs and bubble bars.
*My first bloggers event FABBLiverpool. Which is broken up into 3 episodes.
*Homemade lipscrub how to and review.
*The worlds nicest cheese cake.
*Insomnia what to do when everyone's asleep.
*Infertility in your early/mid twenties.
*Moving back to your family home after owning your own home, survival guide!
So lots to look out for over the next few weeks. I will be doing more product reviews too! that I will slot in.

I am also offering free advertising throughout May! All you will need to do is display my button. Check out my free advertising page for more info and how to contact me.

Until next time my lovely's have a beautiful bank holiday xXx

As it's nearly Easter here is a picture of my Easter bunny on the day I bought him!

And here he is the day he killed the laptop!

Would You Rather Tag

Hello my lovely's I am here with another Tag post :) I love's me a Tag :)

I saw this on 'its only Sophie' blog check it out its run by Sophie Ford she is a 16 year old blogger.

So here are the Questions:

1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
- I would say eye shadows and palettes as if I haven't got mascara or lipstick on I feel naked!

2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
- I have already had 13 inches off hair cut off so I think I will go with the short hair :)

3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
- I always go for a slightly more pink cheek. So pink :)

4.) If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
- I think I would buy clothes. I always neglect buying clothes but I don't think twice about spending money on make up.

5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
- eyeliner as lipstick!!!!! I couldn't imagine anything weirder than the feeling of lipstick on the eyes ewww!

6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
- Mac as we don't have Sephora in the UK so I don't know what they stock

7.) Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life?
- I would pick one eye shadow as you can completely change the look with a different colour lip

8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
- Summer clothes in winter! I cant stand being too hot. I would just use lots of blankets in the winter :P

9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
- I would have bright nails, I don't really go for dark colours

10.) Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?
- I don't know as I couldn't live with out mascara but I wouldn't want to not wear lipstick, ermmmmmmm give up lipstick :'( would be a very sad day

11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
- oooo If only I could do either of these now! I would love to be able to do a messy bun

12.) Would your rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?
- Never wear lipgloss. I don't really use lipgloss often as I tend to wear creamy lipsticks with a nice shine.

13.) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?
- This is a very strange question, I don't really like doing my own eyebrows but people with no eyebrows look scary so I would sharpie them in

14.) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
- Definitely live without nail polish!!!! I would hate to have no make up

I am leaving this as an open tag. If you read this and want to do it, do it! leave me a comment to say you have done it and I will pop over and have a read :)

3 Package Kind Of Saturday

Hello my lovely's this is a long post so grab a cuppa or if your like me a glass of vimto!

On Saturday the postman woke me at 9 am. I was annoyed as it was the first day in 2 weeks I could have have a lie in. So I sent the hubby down ;) he came upstairs with 3 parcels. So it wasn't so bad!

One was just an iPad cover for my glitter decorated business,

pink iPad case

The second was my prize from Josie Cross, I entered her giveaway on her blog josielcross.blogspot.co.uk make sure you check out her blog!

Prizes

I won a mac lipstick and some lush goodies, I chose heroine lipstick and Josie sent me a bunny bubble bar and catastrophe cosmetic fresh face mask.
catastrophe cosmetic fresh face mask

Catastrophe cosmetic fresh face mask
Lush website says
'A calming and moisturising fresh face mask packed with blueberries, calamine and chamomile, rose, and almond oils to soothe and soften the skin.
Smoothe a generous layer of this mask onto cleansed skin and leave for 10 to 15 minutes and let the ingredients get to work deeply cleansing and calming skin down, before washing off gently with warm water.'

This mask smells lovely very fresh and fruity, slightly sweet but naturally sweet. I really picked up on the smell of rose. This mask is designed to help clear spots while soothing the skin at the same time. As it is a fresh mask you keep it in the fridge. When you first put it on it can be a shock to the system but very refreshing at the same time. When I first used this I found it quite drying but for my oily skin I love it to feel tight and dry! I left the mask on for 15 mins and by the end the mask had gone all hard so I made lots of stupid faces in the mirror and watched it all crack and crumble off! Does anyone else do this when they have a face mask or is it just me?
I used a face cloth and warm water to remove the residue and my skin felt lovely. It had a really nice healthy glow and felt really smooth! So far loving this mask :)

Bunny bubble bar

Bunny bubble bar
Lush website says
'Follow this white rabbit to the bathroom for sweetly scented, skin softening bubbles. With the comforting smell of Fair Trade vanilla absolute, and filled with blue cornflowers to float through the water and surround you in the bath.
Inspired by the White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland, this little fellow is full of rich oils and butters to leave your skin soft and conditioned. Sharing the same fragrance as our Creamy Candy bubble bar, this limited edition Bunny is as wonderful on the inside as he looks on the outside, filled with skin softening shea butter and coconut oil, with little candy eyes and tail.'

I am not going to lie this smells so sweet I want to eat it :-/ I have a bit of a problem with things that smell amazing I just want to put them in my mouth or at least lick them! (I know I am starting to sound extremely weird sorry) I haven't used this yet but I know I am going to love it. It is so cute I feel bad using it so I am going to go make sure I buy more of these :)

Mac lipstick in heroine

Mac lipstick in heroine
I am so glad mac have added this to there permanent line it's such a beautiful vibrant colour, it's such a nice purple and lasts so well I easily get 5+ hours out of this colour. It is a matte but it is more like a satin to apply but dries matte when set.

The third was a welcome pack from sigma beauty!

I applied for there pro program a little while ago and got a email saying my application was accepted but I am yet to use my discount. I am saving for a full new set of brushes but with saving for a new house, brakes for the car and we are going to Florida in July, none essentials items are getting pushed back.

When I got the box it was all crushed and open on either end! I thought what ever was in there was sure to be gone, but I was very lucky the package had wedged its self so it hadn't come out! First thing I noticed was my new pro partners card, then I opened the package :) there was so much inside!

I got:
2 brushes a eyeliner brush E05 and a blending brush E25 these brushes are so soft you will want to buy all of the brushes, good plan sigma reeling us in with samples like this!

A eye shadow pallet with 3 beautiful colours inside

Samples of eye brow powders, there is 4 duos in light, auburn, medium and dark!
Samples of 10 eye shadows, these are so pigmented! Can't wait to try out a few looks with these!

And a code to get free 18k gold face brush kit with the purchase of the 18k gold complete kit which I am already thinking of buying!

There was also a leaflet about the program

If you want to apply you must be a working makeup artist,

Can You Have Too Many Shampoo's?

Hello my lovely's, hope your all keeping well. I have a question for you, can you have too many shampoo's? I currently have 5 on the go an 2 waiting in the wings!

When I wash my hair I leave my shampoo on for 3-4 mins rinse then repeat (usually with a different shampoo) leaving it on for a further 3-4 mins. Being a hairdresser I know you really don't need to leave it on for any longer than it takes to get a good lather going but I always feel like if I leave it on longer my hair won't get greasy as quickly, like the shampoo is sucking all the oil out of my scalp.

Currently taking up space in the shower are:-
Lee Stafford everyday blondes shampoo
Lee Stafford bleach blondes shampoo
Lee Stafford big fat healthy hair
John Frieda go blonder
Toni and Guy advance detox shampoo

Shampoo collection can you have too many?

Lee Stafford everyday blondes shampoo
This is the shampoo I reach for the most often. It's one of the gentlest on my hair and has a slight purple colour to very gently deposit colour to stop brassiness in blonde hair.

Lee Stafford bleach blondes shampoo
This is my purple shampoo I use once a week or every other week depending on how ashy blonde I want to be. You only need a small amount of this and you don't need to leave it on long.

Lee Stafford big fat healthy hair
This is my going out or I need to feel good shampoo! Every time I use this my hair feels great really light and easy to work with. This really does give big fat healthy hair. It leaves your hair feeling clean, big, bouncy and shiny. Love it!

John Frieda go blonder
I used to think this made a difference but if I am honest I don't think it really does. But I am reluctant to retire this from my collection. When I leave my purple shampoo on too long and my hair has a pinky/purpley/grey tone this does help to get it looking back to normal quicker than the others I have mentioned previous.

Toni and Guy advance detox shampoo
This is the most drying shampoo ever! If you have used a hair dye and need to get it out this will strip it! You can't rub this in like other shampoos you need to be really gentle and use stroking movements to get it through the hair of you will end up with a matted mess. After using this it's so important to use a hair mask to restore the moisture. If I haven't washed my hair for a while and used lots of dry shampoo I will use this to get all the product and grease and dirt out.

When I shampoo I will often use a combination
John freider go blonder first followed by Lee Stafford everyday blondes shampoo
Lee Stafford bleach blondes followed by John Frieda go blonder or the other way around
Toni and Guy advance detox shampoo followed by Lee Stafford big fat healthy hair
The only ones I don't always use with another is Lee Stafford bleach blondes shampoo and Lee Stafford big fat healthy hair I can often just these on their own.

What's your fav shampoo? Do you use lots like me? xXx
