Little Princess Trust

Hello my lovely's, hope everyone's keeping well.

In 2012 I decided I wanted to do something for charity, after having to do some research on wigs for my hairdressing course I found out about little princess trust

The little princess trust - so who are they?

They provide real-hair wigs, free of charge, to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment. The wigs they provide are free to children. However, the cost of one wig to the charity is on average £350. I thought about what I could do so decided to cut my hair and raise money in the process! You can find out more about the charity here.

the little princess trustI can't believe it was a year ago today I received a certificate from Little Princess Trust. I had raised £1040 when they sent the certificate but I ended up raising another £480 :) I also wanted to donate my hair so on the 1st December 2012 I cut over a foot of my hair (nearly 13 inches off) and sent that too!

It was such an amazing feeling to know my hair was going to make a little girl a wig and make her happy :) Also with the amount of money I raised it will cover the cost of 4 and a bit wigs! That means I have helped 6 children get wigs :)

I love doing things for others so I am trying to think of something to do this year for charity. At the moment I am thinking I will raise money for another children's charity, but not sure which charity or what to do! Any ideas welcome :)

  1. Wow! You are one of the most dedicated and generous people I've ever met! Raising £+1040 it's absolutely ... amazing or incredible doesn't make justice to what you've done :)
