Now the secrete to this is using a tea bag! It works like scaffolding kind of an extra layer of nail and is virtually invisible when dry.
You need
So this is my broken nail.
Start off with cutting the top off tea bag and empty out the tea leafs.
Cut a small piece off that will cover the break.
Apply one coat of clear varnish and while its still wet place the piece of tea bag on.
Using the orange wood stick (or what ever poking device you decided on) to press the tea bag down.
Apply another coat of clear polish to seal it in place. If you are using glue you don't need to apply a second coat of glue but i would recommend smoothing it with a nail file over the top and then apply a coat of varnish.
Once the varnish is dry use a nail file to smooth any edges that are over hanging your natural nail.
Now your nail is ready to go. You can apply other colours over the top or leave it as it is.
As you can see its not very noticeable.
Hope this helps next time you brake a nail rather than having to cut it down
