Life Just Keeps Getting Busier!

Hello my lovely's, it would seam I ran away from my blog for nearly 2 months again! I am back tho and feeling more motivated. I have been really busy this last month as my husband has been off work for summer and we have been taking Emily out to do lots of fun stuff! I am thinking I will get a post up in the next few days of things to do in North Wales. I have had lots of people ask me over last few weeks what is there to do? as they are coming here for a holiday.
So what have we been doing?
So so much! Here are some of our favourite things we have done
Farm to feed the animals - £6 for the 3 of us and 50p for a cup of feed! This was such a cheap fun day out
Beach,
Parks,
Zoo,
Soft play,
Swimming - this is Emilys fav thing to do she loves to be in the water.
Also more grown up stuff is we have painted the front and side of the house and we have also done up the conservatory!

I have been busy with making a Belle Dress for a lady going to Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party.
I have also made some bumbags/fannypacks for a family going to Disney next summer!

Parenting Post Babys Food Brands Reviews

Hello my lovely's life seams to be getting in the way of my blogging again! I am trying to not let it but there is so much going on at home, with diy, family visiting, play dates, its hard to find time to write a post.

Today's post is going to be a bit different it's a parenting post on weaning food. I thought I would share with you some of mine and Emily's opinions on some baby/children's food.

A little back ground on her food. We didn't do traditional weaning we did mainly finger foods, she has never had a puréed meal just fruit as I wouldn't want all my food mushed together so won't give her it. Thought of it makes my tummy churn. Apparently can't call it baby led weaning as I spoon fed her yoghurt and some puddings, so it is traditional with finger foods, even though I wouldn't call spaghetti bolognese finger food. We have given her food that has recommended age's older than her as we haven't had any foods off limits except honey and nuts, but obviously that is just how we feed please use your own judgement of whether you child can have these foods. I found the smaller size of some of these items fantastic for Emily's pincer skills and even my health visitor commented on how advanced she was and I put it down to her feeding. *please don't hold me responsible for your child's feeding as there are recommended ages on all the items listed.

Twitter Chat's For Bloggers

Hello my lovely's, I am going to talk a little about blogger chats on Twitter. I have been trying to make a big effort to get involved with some conversations but being a mummy takes up a lot of time and bedtime routines don't really work great in this house, thankfully daddy is the one who does the putting to bed so I can get a little me time. I try to get involved as often as I can. Finding the chats can be a challenge in itself for new bloggers. I have looked through many people's lists of blog chats and thought I would bring you the ones I have found that I am interested in joining in with. I know there are so many more and if you think you know the one I would like please let me know! Obviously, I won't be able to do the ones that are at the same time, so I will be changing it up weekly.

Is It As Good As It Claims? Results

Hello my lovely's a few weeks back I posted about Scholl's cracked heel repair cream. I have been using Scholls cracked heel repair cream morning and night for two weeks testing its claims of visible results in 3 days and working in 7 days.
I took picture the night I started, on the 3rd day, 7th day, 10th day and 14th day.

scholl's cracked heel repair cream results after 10 and 14 days
Scholl's cracked heel repair cream results after 10 and 14 days
As you can see a huge difference by the end and it had started showing improvement after 3 days, by day 7 it hadn't 'worked' as such, it had improved but wasn't fixed. After 14 days I am very happy with the results but I think one more week may actually have my feet flip flop ready and with the weather we are having right now I can't wait to get my feet out in some pretty sandals!

If I had started it before they got into such a state then I believe this cream could of worked in 7 days but the cracks were just too deep.
It sinks in quite quickly but it does leave a powdery white mark on my socks. I apply it; leave 10 mins then put my socks on and when I took them off I had white socks and often it was on my leggings too!
This cream actually helped my dry skin on my hands. I suffer from dermatitis and this is actually pretty handy for that!
Over all I give Scholls cracked heel repair cream a 9/10

It is currently on offer in Boots for £4.85 usual price £5.39

Is It As Good As It Claims? Could This Be The Cure?

Hello my lovely's this is my second time writing this post. I had it all finished and my monster lovely little girl deleted it! I am so gutted as it was all ready to post too!
So here we go, again!

I'm going to do a post on something most people seem to neglect, avoid looking at and will often ignore as much as they can. People find them gross, ugly, disgusting and some people even have a phobia of them.
I'm talking about your feet!

Just A Little Chat

Hello my lovely's just a little chat post tonight. I have been thinking of ideas for posts and I don't want this to become a mummy blog as that's not the kind of blog I started out wanting to do, this was and still is a beauty and lifestyle blog and as my lifestyle has changed of course my blog will make some changes. So I will be doing some family posts here and there but I will most definitely still be doing beauty related posts.
I think I may just have a blog re vamp, new layout, new colour, new theme and category tabs!

If anyone has any tips or advice on blog layouts please let me know as I haven't a clue!

OSMO Intensive Deep Repair Mask Review

Hello my lovely's, I have a review of OSMO Intensive Deep Repair Mask. My hair isn't in great condition due to sun, swimming and colouring damage so when I was looking in the wholesalers I found this, and the store assistant said it was great so thought, let's give it a try. The store assistant warned me not to use too much as it may make hair limp and if it's not rinsed out properly it will leave it looking and feeling very greasy. So with that information and my new bottle I went home to put it to the test.

The 3 I am going to talk about are

Dove Derma Spa Summer Revived Review

Hello my lovely's I thought I would do a review on Dove's derma spa summer revived in medium to dark (hubby bought the darker colour). I have been a fan of Dove’s gradual tan moisturiser for a while, this is a new take on its incredibly popular Summer Glow. As with summer glow this new range comes in two shades - fair to medium and medium to dark so you can decide what shade you prefer and get that healthy summer glow.

I Have A One Year Old!

Hello my lovely's,
Omg I feel so old! My little tiny baby is now 1! (has been for 2 weeks now) This last year has been a roller coaster, from the emergency section, breast feeding, formula feeding when it all went wrong,  then the hard work to get back to breast feeding, colic, learning to roll, sit, crawl, stand and now walk! It's been incredibly hard at times but at others it's been extraordinarily fantastic.
People say having a baby changes your life and everyone know yes it does but they don't tell you is how bad you want to change your life so they can have the best life possible.

ABC Dating A - Terrible Service Date Night

Hello my lovely's in the last few months my hubby and I haven't really been on many dates so I decided we would do abc dating. Now if you haven't heard about this it's really simple you go through the alphabet and have a date starting with that letter.
Word of warning this is a long post with no pictures so grab a drink and maybe a snack!

For A we cheated at this slightly as we had Alone Time basically time without Emily. We went out for a meal with friends.  We had a great night out with great company but a terrible meal. We went to an Italian restaurant in Chester 'Sergio's', we had only heard great reviews so everyone was looking forward to it.

How To Fix A Broken Nail!

Hello my lovely's here's a little tutorial for you on how to save a broken nail. This method will fix a nail that is up to 3/4 broke and hanging on for dear life. If it's a very low down break I recommend using nail glue instead of clear varnish but even using varnish I have had a nail grow out for 2 months!
Now the secrete to this is using a tea bag! It works like scaffolding kind of an extra layer of nail and is virtually invisible when dry.

You need
*clear nail varnish
*scissors
*nail file
*orange wood stick or some other poking device
*tea bag

Long Time No Post

Hello my lovely's I am sorry I have been away for soooo long! I have a good excuse tho so grab a drink and possibly a snack (this is going to be a long one with not a lot of pictures) and have a read of what's been going on. This is a very personal post so I haven't had anyone read over it and check for spelling and grammar mistakes so please forgive me. It may also have a bit of rambling in it but I will try and keep on track. So nearly a year ago I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl! This is Emily Faith she was born on 23/02/15 weighing 6lbs 11oz
